Our current charity is Kids' Village, voted for by the employees of Bristan Group. Kids' Village were selected to be our charity partner for two years starting in 2025 until the end of 2026. Our Charity lead manages all of our charity activity and fundraising which can be anything from raffles, bake sales, summer social's and many more.
 
Over the years, the Bristan Group has raised money for various charities which have been nationally based as well local to our head office. These have included Mind, St Giles, NSPCC and Birmingham's Children's Hospital. Over the past 3 years, we have raised £23k for our chosen charities.
 
As a business, we are also keen to support our employees with any charity fundraising activities they do outside of work. Our colleagues come from across the UK, which means we are able to support wonderful charities all over the country. When our employees raise money through their own charitable events, we provide a £250 donation towards the cause.
 
Each of our employees is given a volunteering day every year to go and support causes who require additional hands. This has involved food bank deliveries, gardening and helping wrap presents to be donated. The Bristan Group offers days for teams to be able to select easily accessible opportunities which allows for a greater impact to the charity and team building.
 
The Bristan Group also runs the ‘Community Chest’ nomination scheme. This is another way for us to be able to give back to local communities. Our colleagues vote for a local community charity, close to their hearts, who are in need of some extra funding. This could be a local football team, a food bank, a flood appeal or anything else close to their hearts. Once a quarter, a winner is selected and will be the recipient of £500.
